Articles

This document describes how to configure articles, view relevant client information, and apply filters to manage article assignments effectively.


Articles Overview

The main Articles screen displays a list of all articles for all clients.
When you select an article from the list, an information panel appears on the right side, showing:

  1. Which clients have this article in their assortment
  2. Delivery schedule (if any) assigned for this article/client
  3. Minimal stock quantity set at the article/client level
  4. Maximum stock quantity set at the article/client level
  5. Logistics order quantity rounding set for the article/client (this field is visible only if logistics rounding is enabled in the article’s master data)

  • Article Search: Search for a required article by EAN, title, or article ID.
  • Client(s) / Client groups: When the client information is opened for a specific article, you can further filter by Client(s) or Client Groups.

To use additional filters, open the Additional Filters pane. The following filters are available:

Filter NameDescription
Article without scheduleShows only articles without a delivery schedule for the selected client(s).
SupplierShows only articles supplied by the chosen supplier.
ScheduleShows only articles with the selected delivery schedule.
Commercial groupShows only articles within the selected commercial group.
Secondary supplierShows only articles with the chosen secondary supplier.

Note: You can combine multiple filters at once to refine your list further.


Configure a New Article

To configure a new article for an order proposal, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Additional Filters pane.
  2. Select the Article without schedule filter. This will reduce the list to articles that do not have any delivery schedule assigned.
  3. Select an article from the filtered list.
  4. The client information for the selected article will open on the right side.
  5. Use additional filters (e.g., Clients or Client Groups) to limit the displayed clients.
  6. Press the Edit button (pencil icon) in the header to configure changes for all clients at once.
  7. Press the Edit button in each client’s row to configure changes for only that specific client.

Fields Available to Configure

Field / SettingDescription
Delivery ScheduleSelect a delivery schedule for the article/client(s) from the drop-down menu. Doing so may reveal extra fields, such as schedule details (order day, delivery day, etc.).
MinMinimum stock quantity - Specify the minimum stock quantity in pieces for the article/client(s). The system will create order proposals that ensure the stock for these article/client(s) never falls below the specified minimum stock level.
MaxMaximum Stock Quantity - Specify the maximum stock quantity for the article/client(s). The system will create order proposals that ensure the stock for these article/client(s) never exceeds the specified maximum level (existing stock on the delivery date + ordered quantity). Note that this setting could lead to out-of-stock situations if it overly restricts the required order quantity.
Delivery Schedule DetailsReview the schedule’s specific order and delivery days, as well as its reorder and target stock days.
Reorder Stock and Target Stock OverwriteIf needed, set specific reorder and target stock days to override the schedule defaults for the selected article/client(s).

Once these fields are configured, press Save. The newly configured article will now be included in future order proposals and will follow the assigned schedule settings as specified.
